Garment modifications

When considering a mask style, the location of the scar, the underlying skeletal structure and the soft tissue areas of the face will affect the style selection. When pressure garments are used to manage facial scarring, it is recommended that an orthodontic review is undertaken.

Due to facial contours, pads or conformers may need to be used in conjunction with mask as a full face mask may not provide adequate pressure alone.
