Jobskin® Gaiters, a signature brand of Medigarments Ltd, are Class 1 medical devices which are designed to hold limbs in the best possible position to ensure optimal rehabilitation for the patient.
The external orthoses, worn on the arm or leg, incorporate strong structural inserts, which immobilise affected joints and provide prolonged stretch, ensuring that any gains achieved by corrective surgeries, manipulations and reconstructive procedures are maintained.
As opposed to treating an individual's pathology or condition, Jobskin® gaiters have been expressly designed to meet the unique functional needs of the individual patient. Supplied in both ready-to-wear (RTW) and made-to-measure (MTM) formats, the gaiters can be worn by patients of any age on single on multiple limbs as required.

The wearing of these superior gaiters is indicated in a wide variety of conditions including cerebral palsy, stroke, spina bifida and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, among many others. They are ideal for patients post-surgery and for patients suffering from fractures, sprains, dislocations and strains. While the RTW gaiters are can be used for extension only, our MTM gaiters can also be used in flexion with angles ranging from 5º to 90º in ascending increments of 5º.

The garments fasten securely with fully-adjustable Velcro® straps and patients can choose from standard cotton or deluxe terry cloth linings; the latter are more luxurious and are especially suitable when the gaiter is to be worn for an extended time period.
